Could consumers regulate poverty? Or contribute to it...

If humans in the capitalist world simplify their lives and become less consumerists and more mindful of the origin of the products they consume, they are already helping and contributing less to the unbalance and poverty created in countries where extraction and exploitation happens, whether of natural or human resources.

I come to countries like Angola to slow down and get inspired by lifestyles with much less worries.

The best way I find to live life in all societies is to live independently from the established governments, using goods that come from either the local ecosystem where we live, or repaired and reused items from those who don´t need them anymore.

I see no other way to help, other than to participate the least possible in the unjust and dominating systems of production, extraction, exploitation and profit, and inspire others to do the same...

For those who live here, it can be frustrating to reconcile one lifestyle to the other...
